Tankmate for Red devil

I agree that the devil will kill any other fish in the tank, and the 55 gallon is too small.

I currently have had my Jag for 4.5 years and he cannot tolerate anything (and he's in a 92 gallon tank). When he was a juvie, I tried 3 giant danios, and soon enough they disappeared. Then I tried some young pictus cats that were more than half his size....and to my horror, I watch one get attacked and mutilated.

Needless to say, you have an aggressive cich that is currently in a tank that he/she will outgrow. Nothing will last long in the water with that devil.

Thanks for the help everybody. I still consider myself new to all this, so I'll go with the consensus and just let him be. He's pretty much landscaped the entire tank at this point so it's pretty safe to say he considers the whole thing his territory. Again, the help is appreciated
