Tankmate suggestions

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
RTC'S if properly fed and cared for will outgrow your 125 in a matter of a year. mine went from a 2" cutie to eating my oscars in about 5 months at which time he was 14". that was in my 60g. moved him to my 125 and 2 months later i had to sell him to a buddy who runs a pet shop as a display fish. hie put on 4 more inches in the 125 in 2 months. seriously fast growing fish. large water changes daily coupled with feeding of beefheart, some mixed up spinach in the beefheart, live crayfish, and tankmates they will definitely grow for you. I called mine Shamu. he definitely looked the part. have fun cause he will get HUGE.

I agree with you guys 100% on the tank size and have stated already i'm working on a getting a larger tank, so let's change the thread a little to..... I'm soon planning to get a 300g tank with proper filtration. Once established it will house a tsn, an rtc, a silver aro and a bumblebee cat anyone have any suggestions on possible tankmates for this setup.

well after evaluating my financial situation a new tank is not in my budget right now soooo... you can find those cats in the buy and sell section  free to a good home. :headshake thank you all for your replies

Very appropriate idea. (the 300g would still have been inadequate in the near future)

I have a 14 inch dovii that I'm getting nervous about keeping in a 120 and he's on his own.... same with my fahaka puffer (alone is a tank)....and they both get huge...so buddy good luck

You got top and bottom dwellers. I would put something that is a mid swimmer. Like a pbass, african tiger fish, a SA/CA cichlid.

Good luck with your choices.
