personally, I will rear the arowana to about 8 inches first before I introduce the flowerhorns. Both arowana and flowerhorn are predators and abit aggressive in nature. Try get bottom dwellers to go with the arowana first. Plecos, clown loaches will be a good tankmates. See my photo album for examples.

will a freshwater stingray work herd flowerhorn will tear them to shead or i might go for some bichir will those work or mabe even a gar so it freshwater stingray gar or bichir which one should i choose

try non predator fishes for a start. Introduce them when your red arowana is bigger. Bichir is a good choice. Get one that is not bigger than your arowana. Do take notice that the bichir will compete with the arowana for food when it gets bigger.

i guess ill first put some dicus then when the aro bigger ill move it over with my silver in 75gal then ill start indrouce the stingray and flowerhorn next then it done

get your arowana up to size first, bro. Then you can add all the cichlids, stingrays, gars you want. Darn, you can even put in an arapaima if you want. Oopss .. j/k about the arapaima :P~~~
