tankmates and leftovers

^^^ Agreed... But what size tank do you have? If its small cory catfish are good... larger pictus cats are a good choice.
 
medium being? my sun catfish eat left overs but depending upon tank mates might eat them
 
Instead of adding fish, limit your feeding rations and vacuum the leftovers.

I like Stripped Raphael catfish. They are a medium sized cat that grow slowely. They look very cool. However, if they have any hiding places, you will never see them during the day. They will do a good job of coming out in the dark and scavenging for any food.

X2! my mom just the other day found a spotted raph that she hasn't been able to find for at least 4 months! we even swapped tanks and put in new gravel at the same time and didn't see it. we thought it was dead a long time ago and even got a new one.

do lima shovelnose do a good job at cleaning up? i've also been thinking about this. i've heard synodontis are really good at cleaning up any leftover food.
