Tankmates for 4 Male Convicts in a 55

Hey guys thanks for all your responses. I set up individual pots and bowls and a fish castle so in terms of hiding places there are plenty I suppose. So far the only signs of aggression comes from my 4-inch Convict who bullies the other 3 2-inchers when they get too close to the right side of the tank which he claims as his territory but amongst the other 3 there isn't much aggression at all. Right now I'm thinking that I might get 2 JDs or 2 Blood Parrots or a combination of both. I'll keep a close eye on them and if it seems as if they're getting attacked I'll return them.

Good luck! The parrots will be fine also....

You will start having problems once any of the 2" start establishing territories. I dought you will end up with any dead. You will however see the weekest of the 4 hanging up in the top corner of the tank. I have found if you provide caves/hiding spots the required territory is much smaller.

As for tank mates, maybe some yoyo loaches they are quick and will out maneuver the cons, clown loaches could work to but will outgrow the 55g eventually. You could also try a shaol of 8-10 giant danios. I had some success with 5 tiger barbs, but eventually the cons took there toll on them. If I would of had a larger shaol I think it would of worked out.
