Tankmates for an african knife?

I will most likely be getting one for my soon to be cycled 90 gallon and i need some tank mates. I prefer oddballs, or very colorful fish.

Well, what would you like to put in with your African Knife? I also prefer oddballs, and have my African Knife with a few right now.

theyre pretty peaceful Ive got mines with a bunch of fish in my sig..lol

ok, ive been doing some research, would this tank setup work?
2- african knives
1-featherfin catfish
2- peters elephant nose
3- african buttefly fish
4- pearl gourami

If it was me, I would go for African leaf fish (Ctenopoma acutirostre) instead of the Pearls. Think it fits your theme better, and a really great fish! Mine comes right to the front of my 55 to have little staring contests with me.

Ok, so pretty much replace the gouramis with african leaf fish and the setup would be ok?

Yeah, watch the elephant nose - it can be too aggresive or too weak.

I have mine with some growout jurupari and festivums, and bichirs.
