Tankmates for G. altifrons

I am looking for suggestions for tankmates for a small school of G. altifrons, im thinking 6. What have other people kept with them that worked out well. BTW housing is a typical 220. Open to any suggestions thanks.

Altifrons get pretty large. With 6 of them you won't have a ton more space. But you could do a pair of severums, Uaru, psittacus etc. Pretty much any of the semi aggressive SA cichlids that get a decent size.

I've had severums, Uaru and H. psittacus with my altifrons for quite a while. They get along very well.

in my experience oscars and altifrons make fine tankmates, as long as both species are around the same size and there is plenty of room
like others said uaru, sevs, maybe chocolates
i have also had luck with silver dollars, huejtas, and chalceus in the past

angels are great tankmates, but altums may be a little fragile for big geos like alfitrons

I have discus,angels,roselines,mobas, sevs,uaru, arowana,polypterus,plecos and my geos all together.
