Tankmates with JARDINI (READ!!!)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
U think its ok to have pacus as tankmates?? I know from the hard way i didnt work then the Jardini was smaller then 10". My pacu eat it, but if i let the new one grow to like 15" u think its ok in a 1200-1500l tank?? That around 350-400g I got e pacus +30cm atm

Well no one has asked or addressed this and as I have owned Jardini's in the past, I was wondering.... has anyone kept a full grown Jardini with a full grown Fahaka or a Mbu? Maybe this would work in some sort of wierd stalemate fashion. After the Jardini tries to establish dominance and it backfires dramatically maybe this could work. Does anyone have experience doing this. I have kept all of these fish before, but never together......

the problem with terrotorial fish like jardini is space. in an enclosed tank it probably wont end until one of them are seriously injured or DEAD. ive seen jardinis peacefully coincide with other fish in public aquariums and pons because of the ample space. ultimately its ure risk to take...

it really depends i have my jardini with two bichirs and he doesnt bother them i had another jardini with a peacock bass and the bass killed the jardini so it really depends on the fish every fish is hes own world
