tankmates?

i have a blood parrot and jellybean, with an algae eater...i was wondering since they are still rather small, is there a cichlid or anything that i can temporarily keep with them?

They are fine with just about anything. Since bp are slow and cant really fight back and fish that can swim faster. The only think you need to woory about with a BP is their freakish mouths, they will scrape it back and forth across the body causing damage.

ditto, it all depends on the footprint of the tank.

ive had bp's in a tank with a bunch of cichlids like firemouths, midas's, and stuff, they really dont have aggression towards the other cichlids, they always tended to fight each other.. (BP VS BP)

Some BPs can still pack a pretty big punch even with their open mouths. I had a male that ripped out the eye of another, and he had one of those permanently-open mouths.
