well i have two female pink convicts and a male JD . I was wondering if there are any small snake shaped fish that will be around 8" full grown but not really get much bigger then that. My tank is heavy decorated with river rocks there are plenty of places for them or even smaller fish to hide. I was thinking of getting some type of shrimp to live in them as a food source so they don't have to eat guppies all the time.

What size tank? I really would try to get your fish on a decent pellet food instead of guppies, pet store feeders can carry all kinds of nasty things!

hmm either a male pink for the females ( or 2 male pinks ) but aggression may break out or a mate for the JD, thats all i can think of... whats the dims of the tank? Lengthxwidthxheight?

well i was looking for something more along the lines of non cichlids, the tank is 4 ft long 2 tall and 1 deep i don't have a tape measure so i dont have exact measures but that is close to what it is

so does anyone have an opinion before i start to randomly kill off small species of fish or is no one going to offer a bit of help other then telling me to stop feeding them guppies and asking what size my tank is then never replying.

wow 81 views no one has anything to put in except for two people who are not interested in giving any advice along the lines of what i want heh

Yep, copping an attitude is definitely a good way to get people to help you

Heh, people are funny that way. Some options:

Small bichir species (senegalus, delhezi, palmas)
Small spiny eels (peacock, zigzag, not tiretrack or fire)
Weather loach(es) - I think they sell them as "dojo loach" or something these days
