yeah maybe if you were nicer more people would respond, people tend not to react well to attitude, people need to know the tank size so they can know what to suggest so those were all reasonable suggestions, and i agree with getting a senegal bichir if you want a "snake shaped" fish, they get to 12in max so bit bigger than the 8in you were saying but your tank is plenty big enough for one, and they are more active than most other bichirs as well, they will actually swim around and use all levels of your tank
