Just wait till hes a 16" bruiser , he wont be hiding much . These fish are highly territorial and once they have staked there claim its pretty much impossible to add anything . you are going to wind up with a 150 gal rd tank so you have to make a decision to keep or rehome

ima buy couple more aggresive fish about the same size take him out change everything around and mayb buy some dithers.... they dont get 16'' they get between 12''-14'' max

Dude when mine died he was a solid 16" and 6" tall and 3" thick . good luck though live and learn

thaks must take a really long time for them to reach a size that big
