Not necessarily, but obviously you have a great balance going. If there aren't any problems, no need to make changes. Now, if the fish get bigger and the water seems off (you'll know when), then i'd say sure make the switch.
That was the situation on my 55 (again - soon to be 75, attaching a pic of the 75 for proof), once the oscar got to be about 5" I added the eheim and bought the extra AC110, which took it from just an AC110 and an AC70 to 2 AC110s and an eheim 2026. The planted is perpetually dirty and I'm only hoping it's from the plants.
Here's the 75 (I can't wait to see the wood in it), and it'll be on a custom solid oak (4x4) finished stand and canopy with this stain
