I still have both tanks.

There are some light scratches on the 180g but when it's full of water, you can't really see them.

Neither the 180g or 100g, have any leaks at all.

Where are the scratches located at on the tank? Are they in the front?

Yes, on the front but not noticeable when the tank is full.
