It's been white for awhile, started with white gravel last year, switched it to sand in January just different angles and lighting makes the sand appear darker or lighter. Think was the first time I've posted pics from this distance of the tank since I've put sand in. Don't usually take full tank shots, like the closeups of fish instead.
The other day I moved all the wood around and stacked it differently and moved the plants as well. I want to get some more mopani wood for the tank but it's expensive so I wait for the store to have sales before picking it up
It's my favourite wood for my tanks because of all the different colors in it, from cream, to red, to dark brown. I like to move everything around about once a month, take it all out get all the waste that was underneath and then just set it all back up differently. I think the longest I've ever left it alone without moving stuff was 2 months.
My other tank I don't change around much, that one's pretty much all lava rock, couple of floating plants and a small piece of driftwood. The lava rock gives the breeding convicts lots of little nooks to hide their babies but they still get eaten within a couple days of hatching.
Zeppelin3k, just through that song on, pretty cool guitar intro on that one. I usually throw stuff like this on when I need a break from all the heavy breakdowns and cookie monster vocals
Song just finished and you're right that song is pretty good, will have to remember that, at the least the album names are easy to remember so I'll know which album to go for when I want to hear it

yea, I was surprised at how much better the sand looked over the gravel, and the sand doesn't get algae on it like my gravel used to so it stays nice and bright. I don't see myself going back to gravel anytime soon. Just gotta figure out what to do with all the gravel I've taken out of both of my tanks lol.
hehe, yea probably use it for around the the tub if I can find one and actually do put it outside instead of in my basement Have about 75-100 pounds of white, 50 pounds of black and 25 pounds of red gravel stuffed in my big rubbermaid along with misc other decorations I'm not using.

It will keep the weeds in check and you can plant a couple of tropical type plants right in it.. mix all the gravel together and the colors will look awesome..also stick a couple of fishy things out there too.. and a bench..i have a swing and i love just sitting there watching the fish.
