Beckett's removes chlorine & chloramine,some heavy metals, is pH buffered and has a stress coat...1920g treatment for $5.95 ($0.003/g). I also age/aerate replacement water.

You can use Sodium Thiosulfate (the cheapest way to go) (main ingredient in chlorine/chloramine removers) but doesn't get rid of the ammonia aftermath.

1 gallon = $25 on drsFS

16 oz treats about 960 gallons

so about $3.125 per 960 gallons

I force oxygen and use a little aquarium/epsom salt cheap and works great!!

I use prime, also use "dechlor" that stuff has been around for quite along time.

I use Prime or Ammonia Detox, but only the latter since the store I work at carries it and I get it at cost. Prime is better, more concentrated.
