You can buy inline cannisters at Sears, Lowes, or Home Depot and put anything you want in them. I'd do a pleated pre-filter followed by a good carbon cartridge. I don't know if you can get something fine enough to do ich, around 3 microns? Sounds expensive. Something that fine would need a pump to push the water through it.DeLgAdO;624078; said:

pipe the water trough a uv filter, it may not get the spore stage though. are you on a well?? how does ones drinking water supply become infested with ich???
i think he's being over worried. i use the same water as him. unless he suffers the fact that he's closer to TJ then i am.
