Ye removed it from tank and took the substrate out to make sure it’s as clean as possible.
I used this to treat my bichir worms, works well. And holy moly those were some worms! Glad you're cleaning the eel out!

thought I would put this on here as a previous eel I had died from me medicating and not realising at the time eels were sensitive to some meds.
I couldn’t get over the size on these myself but strangely they didn’t really seem to effect the eel much obviously they must of been uncomfortable for him but never showed much discomfort always active and always eat his food.
