Funny, with the macro I take over 200 to 300 shots to end up with 3. Any slight movement of the fish or me, and its a blur, and any speck is magnified, so if its in the wrong spot, the pic is dead. But fun, yes.
Moved the tarantsy from their fairly bare, 50 gal growout tank, to a 100 gal with more logs and cover, and a variety of fish. Couple of the tarantsy have darkened up nicely.
Hope so, they are about the size a pair of Pty oligacanthus spawned for me half dozen years ago.
And now that you mention it, I looked back, and they turned a very similar color.
Here's a few pics of their parents at the time of the spawn of the fish you and Matt have. The pics don't do their color justice. The gold on their bodies was incredibly vibrant.
