OBT's are just really common. They can live in any environment (They can burrow, be terrestrial, arboreal)

They are good spiders, I have two. They also have an extremely potent bite, and the venom can start messing with your mind and body functions (Heart beat)

i read in a book that some ppl keep a few of those pill bugs, roly poleys or patato bugs, lol, whatever they are in the Ts tank to help keep things clean .Have you heard this and wouldnt they multiply like crazy?

There's no need for anything like that, using nice coco fiber (Eco earth) is good enough, I don't even remove dead crickets, and I know a lot of people who don't, it stays pretty clean on its own, the outside of a T's home in nature is littered with carcases when they get a good week of food.

i dont use them either, just wondered what you thought.Thanks.One book also said the auther kept his on vermiculite.About 10 years ago i tried that and they hated it,they wouldnt come down on it and i lost 2 of them.Ive used that eco earth stuff ever since.

Yeah, viticulture is bad stuff, haha.

never really had luck with verm either but had lots of luck with verm and peat mix

i dont know how they do it but when i see ppl holdig t.blondi it must be fake, lol.I changed mines cage the other night and if you just watch or feed him its fine.Have fun getting a deli cup over it once you miss the first time.Dude he flicked hairs all in my face, nocked the cup about 6 inches away from him and just fought me till the end.Hes got lots of room now and is happy again but oh heck no i cant even imagine holding it!My face, shoulders and neck itched and burned like heck until i finaly took a shower, lol. Those hairs are interesting, felt like little random ant bites all over.
