well before this morning my buegill would stay about six inches from my hand. now when i fed them lunch he will take a piece of food from my finger just above the surface of the water and will eat from my finger under water. i forgot to say that i can hand feed my convict.

Thats good, you can also put a plastic ring in the tank and teach them to swim through it.
