Thats because 9/10 Tarantula keepers have no ****ing idea what they are doing.

Thats a Chilean Rose hair. It's a desert species. Make sure it has a bit of water at all times, but keep the substrate dry. They like it dry, they come from a very harsh desert. Give it a nice hide.

yeah mine had a small water dish and it was on coco fiber stuff that was kept bone dry all the time.She was the fattest healthy thing ever.In the beginning ppl told me it needed to be misted all the time and kept more tropical,glad I experimented after looking into the animals habitats.I also had a book that said the keeper kept most his Ts on vermiculite.That stuff stressed mine so bad that I lost a few.Do your research.I think jess dring was told to keep hers humid too,Im not sure how ppl get this info.

Yeah Jase, I took your advice and just mist the cage corners every now and again when it gets to dry, but other than that she is kept bone dry with just a water bowl and hide.
I use the canna coco (same as eco earth) and shes never looked healthier! She webbed up real nice eventually on the verm/peat but that was right before her moult then i changed her to eco earth stuff and she webbed the next day!

Gotta say shes the most agressive/defensive chile rose I ever came across considering how placid she was on day 1! She doesn't kick hairs, if you try touch her or come near her she just tries to bite, so I leave her alone and shes doing real well!

As for the RTARD nicking the pics, how pathetic can you get. And stupid!?!

nicking pictures from a site and then reposting them on the same as your own?! haha, makes for good laughing.
 
lol no 'owned' or 'fail' pics? common guys this one was dumb. btw I do know it is a desert species thats why i have sand and only a little water, i dont think you called me a retard but just making sure. Those are my pets and i do know how to take care of them. The guy who stole my pics is the only retard here!
