Groundhog, squirell, rabbit, pheasent, grouse, snapping turtle, frog, muskrat, apossum(never again, to greasy),racoon(never again, taistes like doo doo),crayfish, oyster, fresh water clam, deer, bear, rattle snake, alligator tail, wild pig, doves, qual, wild turkey(both the food and drink)
But, the best wild meat I ever ate was buffalo. Just a side note, eating buffalo fat lowers your cholesterol levels. It is the only fat known to do that. Maybe that's why indians lived so long.

I've had froglegs, but no groundhog, is it good? LOL What about Marmot?
Ground hog is delicious. Unless it's a young one, you have to par boil it 4 times. otherwise it's like eating a car tire.

Don't think any fish would tast like chicken, but who knows?! I had gator also-it tasted like chicken!!!! A little chewier..... :headbang2
We always cut out little strips of the gator tail. Then bread and deep fry. Just like fried shrimp. Tiny pieces work best. Maybe that's why it always taistes like pop corn shrimp to me.
