I've seen on here a tat that took down an armatus, When these guys are pissed they can be ferocious.

would it be a unwise idea to put two tats the same size in the same tank with my silverdollars, jurapari, yellowtailed cuda, needlenose, clownloach, fire eel, pleco and soon a baby 6 inch juruense cat

ok, shocked that this needed to be brought back, especially considering my 'Aggressive' Tat was eaten..?

Tat's shoal and will be fine with fish too big to be eaten, much the same as most predetory Characins- if it can't be eaten, it's generally not at threat. One note to add would be that certain other fish such as boisterous Cichlids can cause stress to Tat's, killing them.

Just give them plenty of space so that if they spook, they wont kill themselves by slamming into the glass.

Cudas and payara are the perfect tankmates and would make an awesome 125 gallon predator tank.

I wish that were true. My 6" Scomb took a chunk out of the side of my 5" RT Cuda. He eventually died. I know it was the Scomb because there was no other fish big enough to do that kind of damage.
