TATF in Trouble!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Just got confirmation from my dad, the kelberi turned into an a hole since the last time I was home. And started attacking the TATF. Apparently it is looking worse than it was this morning. My dad is in the process of moving the peacock bass to a holding tank. Not looking very promising as of right now.

Hope it pulls through.

I was able to move him to a quarantine tank which is obviously less than ideal considering its on a 55 g. And have been doing water changes, salt, higher temp, and melafix. Hes hanging in there to say the least. His eye is clear, but his back wound is pretty nasty.

Thanks for the help everyone!

Atleast you have it quarantined so it can't be pestered and also importantly it can't feel threatened.
Good news the eye has cleared up, i imagine he'll pull through now, fingers crossed.
Have you got plenty of oxygen in the water?

Ive got a few large airstones running in the quarantine tank, and 3 HOB filters running, so I think it should be okay. I can take a powerhead off of the other tank to add onto it if you think thats a good idea. He was just so weak when I moved him that I didnt want to tire him out anymore
