Okay so heres an update on my TATF, not the best kind of update that could be done. About 9 months ago, the originally passive kelberi I was keeping him with decided he didnt want to be in the same tank as the ATF anymore, and absolutely destroyed him. To make things worse I was away from home when this happened. So when my brother stopped by to feed my tank.. the ATF was barely hanging in there. Luckily he was able to move him to a quarantine tank to see if we could keep him alive.
With lots of water changes and good filtration, I was able to keep him alive. But he was in terrible shape. Eventually I was able to rehome the kelberi, and get the ATF back in my main tank. He didnt eat anything but blood worms for close to 4 months and was extremely skittish compared to before. Finally he started taking pellets again, and with continued good water and food, he has healed up surprisingly well and has started to grow again and has chilled out once again. The healing abilities of these fish are incredible!!!
