Did I see some Redhooks in the crowd?

Yup. I have a mixed shoal...One 7" red Hook "Luna", 2x common SD 4", and one 7" Red Hook hybrid ....i want to add a wide Bar to the mix...they have em at SA.

I was never really into SD's but the red hooks have grown on me.I think a few of them would compliment my cichla pretty nicely.

They are very aggressive feeders and pretty much too fast for anything to catch. I like them. They grow very fast too. My common Sd have grown 1.5 inches in two years.....The red Hooks have grown 3" in 6 months..(and massive depth) Really tough to find large Red Hooks....I have been looking for months. The wide bars are supposed to be amoungst the coolest of the SD...pysched to check em out!
