How do they swim. Most Scombs sit and swim with their tails up in a vertical position. Tats and Armatus swim more like a standard fish with their body horizontal.

I saw the same payaras at the fish place.... at first glance they look like scombs but when i took a closer look.... There were some diffrences... Im no expert so it's hard to tell.... I hope there not scombs cuz i picked two of them up.... Im letting the owner keep them till Sat. because they were still floating in the bags in his tank..... these were the best pics we could provide because we only had our celliesl...

look for better pics this afternoon to confirm for sure. they will be out of bags and in the tanks. the pics of them in the bags are actually distorted because of the round bags. thanks everyone. check in later!
