Tattoo people!!! Ideas

Wife and I are gonna get new tats. She's already set on getting the sign symbol for "I love you" behind her ear. I myself have a few ideas. I wanna get my daughters name "ELLA" more then likely on top of my bicep but not sure if its a good spot. Also thought of getting my wifes name on the other bicep so the arms had similarity to them .Was also thinking of getting a fish tattoo of jag cichlid one of my favs. I don't do color. What do you think as far as ideas and body placement?

Don't do kanji. Worst cliche ever. That's why I have "Stupid American" on my back in Japanese. (Intentionally.)
 
Dude.... I always thought a tat was a personal deal. You come to a forum about fish and ask people about what /where kind of tattoo to get? :ROFL:

Yet what is wrong with asking for opinions or ideas?
 
First this is the lounge and is for non fish related topics. I didn't ask for tattoo ideas as I gave the tattoos I want to get. Sometimes you can wreck a tattoo with bad body placement which is why I asked.

I would avoid putting your wifes name anywhere as you never know what could happen but if you do choose to do that, make sure it's small enough to be covered just in case. As far as your daughters name, I would put it on your chest over your heart. Just my opinion.

Yea I'm not set on the wifes name yet but as far as the chest that space is saved for my mothers tattoo. I sold my 150 gallon tank that's what funding this small tattoo I want

Gotta jump on the bandwagon here, do NOT get your wife's name, you never know what's going to happen but you flesh and blood is your flesh and blood. I got. Great picture if my daughter when she was about 3-4 and I had a portrait put on my right calf. Then I had her write her name under the picture and had them tattoo over it
