i have one right on my ankle. I dont think that it was nearly as bad as people said it would be. it stung a few times but really it was no worse than stepping in a fire ant pile and having a few bite you.

IDK what that feels like but getting an ankle tattoo isn't so bad.
 
dont have ankle. side hurts really bad. especially the day after
 
I got ink... More coming too.... :D All my ink is custom drawn by me and my artist.

Old school Ford V8 emblem with Vondutch style hot rod pinstriping. Left arm will be a basic sleeve of everything hotrod, muscle car, bike related. Have not figured out as way to tie all the designs together yet. Mopar "M" symbol covering the elbow.

This is another custom design. I asked for a H2O/tribal/mechanical design and this is what my artist came up with. I love it but it's not for everyone. ;)

This is the right sleeve still in progress. Tree of life with my 4 greatest attributes cut in stone so I never forget. Still need to finish the clouds, the greens in the tree etc... Under the rock (my elbow) will be the forearm sleeve. The plan is a river like design with fish/rays/???. We have not started the design yet though.
