Holy crap. We'd be here a while if I had to explain how many tattoos I have and all the work and hours. I'll try to keep it simple and I'll get pics up later when I get on one of my other computers. Do you have a preference of type/school of art/theme?

Left arm is sleeved - it is all color and is basically old school rat rot/rat fink type art. All is original art done by my artist and tells about my life. Artistic rendition of my wife as a devil chick, skulls for friends lost, yellow roses for TX (originally from there), my old zip code (gotta represent), a casket for a lost unborn child, a skull with mine and my cousins initials on a ribbon that says CHAOS, an evil clown head to remind me not to take life so serious, a bent and cracked old skool bottle of alcohol that reads "botella de la muerte" (bottle of death) for when I was fighting drugs and alcohol. Then the normal filagre of spider webs, flames, and small spiritual/ritual symbols.

Right arm is 1/2 sleeved (so far) from wrist to elbow. This arm will be black and grey. Again it holds a couple secret elements and a map to important things in my life. Also has an art piece called "Daddies Little Girl" done by Michael Hussar (my favorite artist). I own a rare autographed print of this work and some of his other art. I have an old skeleton key that is a real key to an important chest. Also have Sacred heart with knife & fire. This is a special tattoo. It was drawn specifically for me, my wife and our 2 girlfriends - the design was destroyed after we all got it done. A tribal dragon with red eyes that was done after an initiation thing. We are now going to work on the upper arm. Probably more dia los muertos.

Chest started with Santa Muertos (St Death). It's going to be expansive.

Back of neck has my first tattoo - a kanji for horse which is my chinese birth year but also my favorite animal and pet. Later when my grandmother died, I had unicorn wings added to the kanji to represent the love she had for unicorns. Which in turn creates a pegasus - a very free spirited and elusive animal. Which, without the help and upbringing of my grandmother, I would have never been as free as I am.

Throat says WICKED across it.

Right lower leg has a pirate ship in black and gray w/ a wicked moon watching over and rough waters. Over that in black light ink is a compass with the coordinates for houston Tx. Still need to add more stuff.

Also around in all these tattoos are the words - ENVY, PRIDE, CHAOS (wrath), LUST & GREED.

Nothing on left leg or back.......yet.

Oh yeah, and this is ALL done by one artist - ALL his or my art work (except Hussar piece) and a lot of it done free hand (no stencil).

How about the word "REGRET" in Bold Old English Script across your back? The best tattoo is no tattoo, over 90 percent of tattoos are regretted by their owners within 3 years.

I've been sleeved and covered over 50% of my body, going on 8 years now since my first tattoo. Don't regret any yet. ;)

And where did you find such an obviously failed statistic?

How bout you read this before you make any more ridiculous claims...

I've been getting tattooed for 13 yrs and the only one thing I regret is where I put my initiation dragon and that is ONLY because it is getting in the way of some art right now.

I think there is a huge difference between one of those people who just gets a tattoo or 2 because of a current feeling VERSUS those who live tattooing as a lifestyle - like myself. And for anyone thinking I am throwing my life away or limiting myself on career choices, this is far from the truth. Out of high school I worked for the US Courts, worked my way up and was later laid off because of war (budget cuts). After that I owned my own business flipping houses, renovating old houses, and building rat rods. For the past 4 yrs I have been working in banking, holding a management position for the past 3 1/2 of those years.

I have no regrets. If you're not willing to go the distance and willing to show that you shine more than your tattoos, then I'm sure you'll have regrets if you're that kind of person.

I love all of my tattoos, and I get compliments daily ... but I'm female so you probably don't want flowers on your body :D

My wife has 1/3 of her back done, one full sleeve, one 1/2 sleeve, her hips - and is continuously working to fill in more. She is also a bank manager who is working part time with a forensic morgue examiner and going to school to work as an examiner herself.

She gets tons of compliments.

I got my first tattoo over 10 years ago, and haven't regretted one of them yet... the only time people tend to regret their tattoos is when they don't think it through, or get one while drunk... that or they don't research artists and get a really shoddy tattoo (which i have seen way too many of)...
