I love all of my tattoos, and I get compliments daily ... but I'm female so you probably don't want flowers on your body :D

Hey, I have flowers all over my shoulders! I get compliments all the time but my arms are done too with bright colored nautical work, a map of the world, a seadragon and A PACIFIC COD that bites little kids fingers when I close my left arm.

I've been sleeved and covered over 50% of my body, going on 8 years now since my first tattoo. Don't regret any yet. ;)

And where did you find such an obviously failed statistic?

How bout you read this before you make any more ridiculous claims...

Sorry about that, I was trying to be humorous but it came across dickish. I enjoy seeing really well done tattoos.

How about the word "REGRET" in Bold Old English Script across your back? The best tattoo is no tattoo, over 90 percent of tattoos are regretted by their owners within 3 years.

I've been getting work done for over 11 years, my wife for over 13 and we don't regret any of our work. We both have full back pieces(she's even won awards for hers), as well as I have half sleeves on both arms, chestwork, and even brandings on both of my legs. I also have been pierced well over two dozen times. Body modification is not for everyone, but I don't try talking people into getting work done if they're not into it and I appreciate not being insulted just because you're not interested in it yourself.

Holy crap. We'd be here a while if I had to explain how many tattoos I have and all the work and hours. I'll try to keep it simple and I'll get pics up later when I get on one of my other computers. Do you have a preference of type/school of art/theme?

Left arm is sleeved - it is all color and is basically old school rat rot/rat fink type art. All is original art done by my artist and tells about my life. Artistic rendition of my wife as a devil chick, skulls for friends lost, yellow roses for TX (originally from there), my old zip code (gotta represent), a casket for a lost unborn child, a skull with mine and my cousins initials on a ribbon that says CHAOS, an evil clown head to remind me not to take life so serious, a bent and cracked old skool bottle of alcohol that reads "botella de la muerte" (bottle of death) for when I was fighting drugs and alcohol. Then the normal filagre of spider webs, flames, and small spiritual/ritual symbols.

Right arm is 1/2 sleeved (so far) from wrist to elbow. This arm will be black and grey. Again it holds a couple secret elements and a map to important things in my life. Also has an art piece called "Daddies Little Girl" done by Michael Hussar (my favorite artist). I own a rare autographed print of this work and some of his other art. I have an old skeleton key that is a real key to an important chest. Also have Sacred heart with knife & fire. This is a special tattoo. It was drawn specifically for me, my wife and our 2 girlfriends - the design was destroyed after we all got it done. A tribal dragon with red eyes that was done after an initiation thing. We are now going to work on the upper arm. Probably more dia los muertos.

Chest started with Santa Muertos (St Death). It's going to be expansive.

Back of neck has my first tattoo - a kanji for horse which is my chinese birth year but also my favorite animal and pet. Later when my grandmother died, I had unicorn wings added to the kanji to represent the love she had for unicorns. Which in turn creates a pegasus - a very free spirited and elusive animal. Which, without the help and upbringing of my grandmother, I would have never been as free as I am.

Throat says WICKED across it.

Right lower leg has a pirate ship in black and gray w/ a wicked moon watching over and rough waters. Over that in black light ink is a compass with the coordinates for houston Tx. Still need to add more stuff.

Also around in all these tattoos are the words - ENVY, PRIDE, CHAOS (wrath), LUST & GREED.

Nothing on left leg or back.......yet.

 You da man...

I have been tattoing for 10 years now ,the best advice for ideas i can give you is wait to get your next tattoo,a design will come to you dont rush looking for a design and then endup get a tatto then find or think of something you like better down the road.I think thats were a lot of the regret comes from. I see alot of people rush to get tattooed then then end up seeing something they like better and come and want a cover up on a tattoo .

heres one ,kinda simple but who ever your artist is can add their one touches.just to keep the thread on track.

Buddha said it best, when you find the right design for you, you can feel that it's the one. Do lots of research and look at as many different pictures and websites as you can, even better if there are any tattoo conventions nearby. If you force a decision then you probably will end up regretting it, but if the design chooses you then it will be much more meaningful.
