Thanks ska_kid, he's fine. It's a mental handicap though that he was born with. I took him in to give our mom a break for a few years but to be honest I love having him here, great with the kids and helps keep up on the house work.

Under the new tax laws, since I'm military and I am stationed away from the house that I own on orders from Uncle Sam and have renters living in it, I am considered a small business and have to pay Uncle Sam almost $3000.

I have three kids, a handicapped brother, and my stay at home wife all living with me that I claim. I also invest heavily into my 401k which reduces what I claim as taxable income. Little under $30,000 taxable this past year, add in a few other factors and they give back three times what I paid. Let me add in that theres nothing better than a large, well lit, aquarium to get a baby or toddler to sleep.
