Teacup ray tankmates???

I have a teacup ray in a 55 growout (he will be moved to a 250).What tankmates are good for him and that can fit in a 55 for life?Thanks
 
what type of ray is it.. tea cup is a name they give young rays... most likely a retic, but its nice to know because retics are "viewed" more of a finicky ray then the more agressive motoro rays. which can play on what kind of tank mates would be good... biggest rule of thumb... no plecos... no cichlids
 
i would put no fish in the tank till the ray is moved to the 250gallon
rays produce large amounts of waste so no tank mates mean you will be able to keep that small amount of water in check...
 
It is a retic.It is about 6 inches long (not including tail)and like,5 (making an estimate) or 6 inches in diameter.
 
yea no other fish in that tank till ray leaves it... that is your best bet...
