what do you guys think about them? Anybody have any info or suggestions about them? I just picked one up, and have researched it but wanted some advice from people that own them. i'll post a pic soon. thanks

What kind of ray did you get. Tecup just refers to the size of the rays so pretty much any type of ray could be a tecup at a small size.

uhoh, then I dont know. they said it stays relatively small and is good for a 125 gal. tank with open space on the bottom. my info came from them.

I paid $60 and I believe it is the stingray in the photo but the pattern is similar but much smaller.

From my experience with a retic your water should be top notch at all times because they are alot more sensitive then hardier species such as motoros. Also I am worried about your tank mates. Adding a ray to a new tank is stressfull enough, but adding them with that many tank mates that you could put in the semi aggressive to agressive category may push it over the edge. If anyfish start to pick on the ray remove it or the aggressor immediatly.

funny you should mention that. well as for water, it is always very clean. I do weekly changes religiously and I just put on a new fluval fx5 filter. secondly, I'm sad to say that my pike cichlid will have to find a new home. he is the only aggressive fish in the tank. all of the rest are pretty docile. the dats are all babies and one of them is on the way out as well. the apollo sharks are going back to the fish store. the gouramis are going to a friend's tank. after that is all said and done, the only things left are a ctenopoma, 3 dats, 3 hujetas, and 2 gara ping pings. none of which are aggressive. how long does it take to get them to eat?
