Teacup stingray care

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Tea cup means retic stingray it's just not a Lfs term. First off I would suggest you not get a retic and get a motoro. Retics are not easy to care for and tend to die with in the first month with beginners. Motoros are perfect for beginners and are very hardy

teacup is just a name lfs puts on rays that they dont know what it is its not a retic trade name

teacup rays typically are retics, but the term really is just referring to the size and could apply to many different species. Motoros are one of the best starter rays, so are hysterix, but neither will fit in a 125. I retic could live in one for a while but will still require an upgrade as it grows. I suggest the OP does a lot more research on rays and their care before purchasing one. No one wants their first experience with one to be negative when it can be prevented.
