My LFS has some teacup stingrays in, they are 60 bucks. Does anyone one know what kind of rays are refered to as teacups?

Most likely a retic.I saved mine from my sons preschool. It was in a 10 gallon with 2 giant angels. I guessed age at 3 to 4 months. I know everybody says they are hard to keep alive but I think if you really pay attention to water levels they can thrive. Had stingy for 7 months now
It can be a crap shoot because they are often imported/sold with internal parasites which will cause them to slowly wither away no matter how good the water quality is
But some people do have success with them

i would say its because they are often sold to small and young and not in good conditions rather than the parasites.
