they are eating though, which is very good to see.

here's a few more pictures just to show you that they're more than a pretty face
it's the same fish. this guy / girl is the dominant parrot. he's around 7" now and is really nice with turquoise and some blue. he was nearly dead when i got him outta the bag and i had to resuscitate him using a ton of aeration and power filters. i'm glad he made it. you can see the tail area needs recovery...
the other three squabble amongst themselves, but there's a clear hierarchy. they don't chase each relentlessly like central americans which is a relief.
i'll get a group picture some other time... pardon the water stains.
lol breeding is very far from my mind right now to be honest.
i am more concerned with their recovery and possibly splitting the group up. i can see that the larger ones will make life difficult for the smaller members of the group.
i don't know... i'll see what happens i guess.
