teaser pics...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
there will be more to come... when i feel they are sufficiently recovered from their trip here...
i don't want to show my fish when they are not 100% :(
they are eating though, which is very good to see.
i promise an update around this weekend.

here's a few more pictures just to show you that they're more than a pretty face :D
it's the same fish. this guy / girl is the dominant parrot. he's around 7" now and is really nice with turquoise and some blue. he was nearly dead when i got him outta the bag and i had to resuscitate him using a ton of aeration and power filters. i'm glad he made it. you can see the tail area needs recovery...

the other three squabble amongst themselves, but there's a clear hierarchy. they don't chase each relentlessly like central americans which is a relief.
i'll get a group picture some other time... pardon the water stains.

Not often these are seen. Any breeding programmes down the track?

lol breeding is very far from my mind right now to be honest.
i am more concerned with their recovery and possibly splitting the group up. i can see that the larger ones will make life difficult for the smaller members of the group.
i don't know... i'll see what happens i guess.
:)
