Came home from work to find some teeth from my newly acquired 11" Black piranha. I have had him for a week and a half and he has not ate for me yet. My question is, have any keepers here ever notice their piranha or piranhas refuse food during the time of shedding their teeth?
Thank you

that's normal, they change both top and bottom rows of one side all together then next time will be the other side.

Today I found a few more. Lol. I'm glad I have slate tile bottoms so I can find the shed teeth. Started a new little collection here. Haha

When my Armatus sheds teeth, sometimes he'll refuse to eat until all the new replacements are in. Other times, he'll eat to help loosen teeth. So its normal.
