Mikes Killer Fish has it right? If so, then yes, its a Crenicichla vittata. They have HUGE mouths....so take that into consideration....

yep huge mouths hmmm how aggressive are they could they go with other ca cichlids like jaguar if not are there any other cool pikes that would do well with cichlids?

Ask MTN Pike, they actually have a vittata last time i checked. Pretty sure they have it in with other CA/SA cichlids. Most pikes will do good in a community as long as they are raised up with the other fish, aren't too crowded, and keep a full belly...lol. Adding new fish to a tank that already has some estabilished pikes can be tricky at best...
