Tegu and future build

Good news, I got CAD took me forever and is way over proced but totally worth it. I plan on starting to draw up a rough blue print for my cage build. But as luck has it i will be away from base for a few days so cant start drafting till next weekend. But the more I draw the better I'll know what I want. So any ideas you have for a tegu build lets hear them!!! I will see if I can add them and make a crazy blueprint....... We shall see. agian thanx for all your past and future help!!!

I would consider my Tegu 'social' in regards to getting attention from me, the owner. I often let my Tegu free roam in the house and while he will explore everywhere he has access to, he will also come to where I am sitting and 'visit' me frequently. Sometimes simply crawling over me and continueing on, sometimes stopping in my lap to hang out. Previously my father insisted he only stopped on my lap for the heat, until he was able to whitness it a couple of times himself and he admitted the Tegu was obvisouly stopping to 'visit'.

Thats is really cool, do you have any threads with pics of your tegu? I'm always interested in large reptiles like monitors and tegus..but I will not keep such a large reptile until I have a suitable home for him. Also how is the tegu outside, do you have to worry about ticks, mites or anything like that? Thanks
