Tegu diet.....

I've fed him krill before as well. He's not yet big enough to eat baby quail, but where would I find them anyway? I know Florida's well known for their flee markets and feed stores that sell things like that, but there is nothing like that around here(that I know of). My wife would KILL me.....she barely tolerates the feeding of mice.lol

Yeah that's the thing about Florida, you can buy almost any animal here. I would never tell the old lady about it either lol.

My friend feeds his 4ft Argentine tegu Large Rats and the ocasional Day old chick. At a local feedstore they sell small chicks/ducklings for 10 dollars.

Man thats a lot of bucks for a baby chicken. they're 2.50 - 4.00 here.

Haha, I think theyre exspensive to ward of people who feed them to there pets.

One time at the pet store I work at we had to euthanize a yellow tang because it had a huge gash. We froze it thawed it back out removed the "tangs" and fed it to our tegus!!! They went nuts on it. Thats probably the strangest thing ive ever fed one!
