Just re-scaped the enclosure. Give me your opinion on how it looks.

i personally liked the look of the sticks goin back across the back of the enclosure...
but what really matters is how does she like it?

Once again i enjoyed that wash cloth video. Think it looks fine. But i would probaully run somthing up the side or back for her to climb on. An open up that middle space for her to have more of a open type area. How big actually is she? Pretty good size in that video. How big is that enclosure. I am very intregued by these guys after watching that vid you posted the other day.

She's not picky... I don't plan on re-scaping anytime soon but with the branches running along the back it left a big open "Plataea" in the middle of the cage so she had no cover and would often creep under the branches along the back. With more cover in the middle of the cage she seems happier to come to the middle/front of the enclosure and likes to dig under the branches.

Looks great and beautiful Tegu!

thanks!

Thanks I am glad you enjoy the video so much. You can check out my channel on youtube if you want to see more videos of her. She isn't a big climber so I am not pressed on adding things for her to climb on although I did catch her on top of those branches today. The thing about adding things for her to climb on is she is pretty bulky so it must be very sturdy which basically means Big stones or Big logs/branches. I am always looking for new things to scape her tank though. The middle actually has a lot of floor room opened up. The branches serve more as an overhead cover area. I will have to measure her again but last time I measured her was earlier this year and she was right at 36". She probably won't get much bigger than that she is pretty much full grown. Her cage is 8'x4' and 3' tall with a 1' lip filled with substrate so she can dig. I can't tell you how many times I wake up to her hurling mulch at the back of the enclosure because she is Digging.

Gorgeous tegu...everytime I see a post of yours, I am tempted to get one myself

Reptiles are addicting :). They are great pets if you have the time and space for them.
