Tegu or Monitor

so just wondering if you are a tegu fan or monitor fan. post why please.
personally im for monitors because of all the different sizes/biomes they come from. like tree monitors that are 2' to 8' water monitors.

I like tegus personally, because I've had the most experiences and positive interactions with them. But if you take that out of accounting, I love monitors more. Much more variety, interesting appearances, etc.

Deff monitors. More diversity and no foaming at the mouth.

I picked Tegu, because I have handled both an Argentine B&W and a similarly sized sav, and the sav was the one that left me mildly scratched up.

Honestly I like them both and I believe that both are just as good, it just depends what you're looking for in the next thing you're getting. I want them both.

I owned 2 black and white argentine tegus.. i love em both.. i also had a savannah .. but for this i'd have to go with tegu

It really depends on what you are looking for in your lizard...

If you want a large (10~15 lb 3.5~4') puppy like lizard then there is no better choice than am Arg B&W Tegu...

But if you are looking for a display animal Monitors have a much wider range of animals to choose from. Many are easily handlable, but not as well or as easily as Arg Tegus.
