Ha Ha Silly!! No its Friday which means NO work tomorrow for me!!! :woot: So what is everyone up to?
 
I'm a little bummed. My dad, who raised me by himself since I was 7, has been in the hospital all week. They're letting him come home this weekend, but they want to do more tests on him Tuesday to determine if he should have open-heart surgery. His dad died from a heart-attack and his brother (my uncle) just had a quad bypass last year. If he does have to go through surgery he'll be out of work for 2 months. I told him today if he needs me to I'll pay his mortgage while he's out. It just sux. I'm 29 now and have never had a close loved one die or had anything really devastating happen to me. :(
 
Wow that really sucks... sorry to hear that! Does his work not offer compensation or unemployment? Short Term disability? There has to be something to help him out? I know that Benefits are much different in the US, that is a real bummer.. Hope your dad is ok.
 
Thanks. I asked him if his job would offer any comp. He said he wasn't sure and doubts they would for 2 months.
