Well its really complicated... basically in a nutshell... we have nothing in common anymore except that we have a daughter... and we come from very different backgrounds. He is very old fashioned Portuguese and I am third generation Italian, (but very mangia cake - I dont even speak it) so he is all about the women barefoot in the kitchen and that a womans job is to take care of the man etc etc.. (Caveman ring a bell).. and I am very new generation where things shoud be 50/50 so we are always trying to find common ground.. but it seems like I am always losing...

And he doesnt help me at ALL with our daughter.. wont do anything with her outside of the house. I mean, he plays with her at home all the time and reads to her and stuff but GOD FORBID I want to go out and he has to watch her by himself.. he wont even take her to the damn fish store...... SEE NOW YOU GOT ME ANGRY AGAIN...

Its a really long story this is the basic version there is sooo much more... but the making up part is soooo good and deep down I do love him.

Just like yesterday.. I was in here (My bedroom) on mfk.. and he was in the living room with our daughter.. well somehow she got into the bathroom and got my hair product in her hair.. and I mean lots of it.. while he was supposed to be watching her.. and so he comes in here and says " Nicole needs a bath" and Im like "yeah ok so whats wrong with you?" and hes all like "oh I have things to do" well if he was watching her properly in the first place then she wouldnt have gotten into that stuff.. so he should give her a bath..

Am I wrong? Overreacting? Maybe a bit.. but this has been going on for the last 4 years and I am getting sick of it.... If I wanted to be a single mom I would be one....


That actually felt good getting it off my chest....
 
Ok so now everyone knows WAY too much about my life.. lol
