Yeah. I used to love watching my peacock eat worms. He'd attack them then start thrashing around in the water. Then he shoot up out of the water super fast. I gues the thrust would shove the worm further down his throat for him. It was cool. Now he doesn't even come out to eat. 
I've never seen the tiretrack eat though.
