Teh Nitecrew Thread

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah. I'm thinking the 600s would be better b/c then I can have more variety and not have to worry about fish eating other fish. I had that happen once and it really pissed me off!

yeah thats hilarious. you could pretty much do whatever you want. four times.

maybe 1 big 2500g would work too. heh fill it with GF and maybe they'll school.

I just did some math and 6'L x 3'W x 4'H would give me roughly 538 gallons. My uncle said he can get me lexan or glass at a decent price. Buying a 5'x3' sheet would prolly be a good bit cheaper. Now I just have to figure out how thick my glass would need to be. I'm lovin this idea. Plus with it being smaller I can do one at a time. I'm not sure if I want to have them all hooked to the same filtration or not though. I mean work-wise it'd be a lot easier, but if I get a disease or need to treat a tank I wouldn't be able to.

yeah i was kinda wondering the filtration involved with such a setup. id probably hook em all up together. any of your buds plumbers?? thatd save some headaches.

4' is pretty tall too. id add more to the tank footprint and shorten the height so you dont lose any volume

anyways, im sure such a setup would be impressive no matter what routes you decide on.

I already have an idea for the plumbing so that shouldn't be a problem. Plus my cousin was a plumber.

I'm thinking about copying this guy's setup
