Teh Nitecrew Thread

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm on the Hayward site right now lookin around. lol Oh man I'm really gonna have to sweettalk the wife into letting me do this.

I just thought of it but your water changes would be as easy as pushing button.....***backwash**....then refill...........gotta love it!!!

Yup! Plus I'd have the vacuum in there constantly cleaning and with there being no substrate that means it's even easier to keep clean.

I just found another filter/pump setup that is for up to 47,000 gallons for $790. I think 2 of those would be fine. They better be. That's freakin $1600 just for pumps and filters! Since I have 2 pumps and filters that means I can also have 2 vacs, right?

Back in the day my parents had a 32' inground pool...........it had 1 intake and the "slinky" vac attached to the intake...........i have no idea how above grounds work though??

you would only really need 1 vac as they would constantly get tangled if you had 2..........1 does a great job:)

From what I've read the vac connects to the pump so I can have 2 vacs if I wanted to. It might be a better idea to have 3 pumps and filters. That way I can have 2 working 8 hour shifts.

I think I just found my setup! I could get 3 of these. They do 57,000 gallons and are about $300 cheaper.

It says you don't backwash with them, but that's cool. I'll just install 4 drains at a certain level on the side with valves on them, all pvc. Then I'd have the pipes run into the ground and into srinklers throughout the yard. Then I'm watering my yard and doing water changes!

right now its only 11:10 pm here.

I usually hit the hay around 4 am, where I lay in bed and play the ol' Nintendo :D

then i fall asleep doing that. eheh. Oh, and othertimes I fall asleep watching movies and eating soup in a can...or whatever I find in the fridge.
