yeah. I just need something to hold them in until I can build my pond. Too bad I just missed swimming season. I'd get one of those cheap hard plastic kiddie pools from wal-mart.

I always check the clearance rack at department stores. My latest fish-related score was an inflatable 275 gallon pool that will be a perfect temporary holding pond if I ever need it. Oh yeah, I got it for $8.

ok on saturday me and afew cowrkers went to tijuana to party
we went to a club called "mysterys" and this place wasnt the safest clubs in TJ
anyways
my friend bianca got wasted
on only 4 shots!!!!
and the most she can handle was 7 without getting too messed up
at first it was all good right, she took some shots and then grabbed me onto the dance
floor and we started freakin
it was fun as hell
after awhile i let my friend cut in so i could go chill with my bud mike, then they both dissapeared and we where like ****!!! WHERED THEY GO (in tj you dont get drunk and jsut dissapear, that the worst thing you can do) anyways about 15 minute later they both reapeared and she was out of it, they afew moments later she couldnt stand up, and we was jsut going downhill after that, so we took her to a bench in the corner of the club to sit down and she kept fading in and out, then she started puking!! that **** got in her hair on her face everywhere!! even on me! (pants shirts, arms WTF??).
heres the part where i ask if what we did was the right thing to do.
since she was so ****ed up, we couldnt get her across the border (AND SHE LOST HER ID!!!) and it would be awhile before she sobered up, so we rented a hotel to stay the night, since it was too dangerous to stay in the club or out on the street (AND NO we didnt do ANYTHING to her)
it was me, her and my friend mike, 2 male one female, so we stayed the whole night in this hotel, she was still puking whe nwe got to the hotel and when we layed her into the bed she pasted out, finally.
So me and mike got some sleep as well, well i couldnt, i was thinking abotu what was gonig to happen the next day, would it be bad or good
about 9pm we decided to wake her up, and when she woke up (finally) she was freaked out and had no idea where she was since she passed out dancing with my friend ryan and woke up in a hotel ther next day.
now from a females point of view, her first thought is RAPED!!, but she was good and realized it was just us, so we explained to her what happened, but she was still freaking out. we got the hell out of tj and got back to the us, they let her through even thoguh she didnt have her id. thank goodness.
so my origional Q is was it the right thing to do to take her to a hotel to keep her safe still she sobered up and could get across the us border???
now she thinks that we shoudlnt have done that and afew of her friend too, but what else coudl we do???
my boss at work to me that we should have got her something to eat and drink so she could puke the crap out of her system, but at the same time im argueing that its pointless since alcohol is already in her blood stream and puking doesnt do ****, and that her body had to remove it itself by the liver, btw the liver removes abotu and ounce an hour.
so what do you think? did e do the right thing? or could we have done something else?
i feel bad though, i should have kept an eye on her, i fell at fault for letting her get that messed up, since everyone else was donig there own thing.
later i found out that when she was dancing with ryan, she said "i want to find mike" so ryan took her back to us, and thats when she blacked out and started gonig downhill (since i had a bad incident at a party before, and she wanted to make sure i was ok.)

I would have done the same thing. If she accussed her own friend of rape, she wasn't really a friend. You could have possibly gotten in a lot of trouble transporting a puking disgusting girl with no ID over a federal border. Definitely the right decision.

I prolly would have done the same BUT I would have also kept giving her water and making her puke till her stomach was empty. Then I'd have her consume nothing but water.
Here's my logic. Yes the alc is already in her bloodstream and mainly time is the only cure, but if her stomach is emptied then filled w/ water then surely that should help sober her up. The water should start to dilute the amount of alc that's in her system.

Well, let me tell you a little from experience. Puking does not rid the body of alcohol in the bloodstream, HOWEVER if there was mass amounts of alcohol consumed in a short period of time, some of the alcohol will not be absorbed yet, therefore puking rids the body of it. Many people think that making themselves throw up makes them more sober and it isn't true. The alcohol that has already made it into your bloodstream will not leave it by throwing up. Water does help dilute the alcohol to a certain extent, but it will not sober the person up as quickly as most people think. The amount that water will sober a person up usually depends on what else they have comsumed. If they ate a large meal before drinking, water might not effect them as much as if they had drank on an empty stomach. Mass consumption of alcohol leads to dehydration of the brain, and that is why people get a hangover. If you drink large amounts of water afer a night of drinking, it does not necessarily make you more sober, but it will cut down on the dehydration to your brain, and therefore, your hangover.
Had you not taken her to a hotel and taken care of her, things could have been different. Besides the fact that she could have dies from alcohol poisoning, I would rather wake up in a hotel close to where I was drinking in the morning rather than in a different country than I passed out in. She is lucky you guys thought logically, the situation could have gotten her and yourselves in a lot of trouble.
